Someone's little treasures.
Given how dark it was, it certainly was not a domain for a classic hand-held photography, hence the emphasis. Advances in high ISO, image stabilization, smart HDR, etc., are making possible what until rather recently necessitated a tripod.

I'd venture to suggest that most shots posted to this thread were handheld, all mine certainly were. I don't know how many were shot using mirrorless cameras, but again, all mine certainly were.;-)
