Loss of thumbnail image

This probably a dumb question, but here goes anyway. I updated my Mac to OS 10.10. I have Photoshop CC 2014 installed. I now notice that my saved images display only as an icon (e.g. Tiff) and there is no thumbnail of the image. Trying to figure out how to get that back. What am I missing? All suggestions welcomed. Thank you. #1

Same problem for me in 10.10.2! I have searched very much ,but nothing help me and it is not my only problem with Yosemite...!
Very embarrassing ...

right click on an white space, choose the lowest something similar to "show view options" and click the checkbox show icon previews.
Sorry, but I'm on swedish 10.10.3 so the exact translation is hard to get.
