wtb: Aptus 22 or equivalent...
« on: November 29, 2010, 08:10:02 pm »

Before anyone laughs at me, I'm looking to get into a MF digital setup relatively affordable.

There's a place holding a H1+Aptus17 for me for $4700 but I'd really like to see if I can find an Aptus22 if it's not a giant jump in price.

I'm not really locked into Hassie body though it'd be nice to have the faster shutter sync.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Garrett

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm in the states (Charleston SC).

If there is someone relatively local, I'd be happy to travel to try and buy. (savannah, myrtle beach, columbia, up to Atlanta)

I have approx. 4k budgeted for a back.

Thanks

Hi Garrett,
I live in Hendersonville, NC and have a Leaf 75 with only 4400 shots on it.  It is in excellent shape.  I would be happy to drive over and meet with you (part way) if you could expand your budget to about $9,500.  It is a great back and I would upgrade.
Thanks, Dave

Thanks for the Offer Dave, that is a good price but I just don't have that much (unless I can talk my company into giving me more stock now....lol)

Thanks everyone for the offers!

I've found a great deal and will be the proud owner of a new DMF system in a few days!

Yeah, Capture integration hooked me up with a Phase One AF (mamiya 645AFDIII) with warranty, new 80mm w/warranty, Aptus 22 that was one of their demo backs for a really good deal of a price!

Yeah, I could've gotten an H1 kit/Aptus17/addtl 16-32 film back for $4700 and had cash left over but long term with Hassie closing their system and no longer supporting film with their H series I just couldn't do it.
