I hear ya. But I'd keep my eyes open for a used iOne Display v.2 puck. Should give you better profile results than your current Spyder2 hardware. Maybe buy a Display LT and use the puck with the CEDP software.
It seems that 125 works better than 120 in terms of max dE (1.23 vs. 1.77) and avg dE (.47 vs .58) so I'll stick with that for now. I think that at 120cd the monitor is starting to really fall apart.
