HP Designjet 120nr - no Snow Leopard Driver
« on: September 04, 2009, 03:34:48 am »

Is HP going to orphan the HP Designjet 120nr large format printer in Snow Leopard?

At present because there is no support for this printer in 10.6, I have had to install the 10.5 driver and that works (though I guess only in 32 bit applications).

The other problem is that the previous HP printer utilities do not work and therefore no way to calibrate etc.

Designjet 120NR - cannot get the previous System Maint Utility to work - it crashes:

Given that the HP Designjet 130nr is apparently supported in 10.6 and it is so similar to the 120nr, I can't see why HP can't easily update the 120nr (or give me a 130nr to replace their now deliberately obsoleted 120nr printer).
