Well done. I like the force created by the two dominant line patterns:
The first set points from top right to bottom left and is implied by the direction of the blowing branches and is reinforced by the top of the background landmass, the foreground shoreline, and the lower clouds, bottom left. The second set of lines points from bottom right to top left and is created by the slightly darker, higher clouds, mid left. The level sea line tries to balance the two, but isn't enough (I mean this in a good way).
For me, these lines create a sense of chaos, as if two lanes of traffic are trying to cross one another, with no guidance. The chaos works in this impending storm setting- lots of motion, perhaps dangerous. Also, the backlighting of the trees makes their forms much stronger.
