As well known, the ABW (advanced black@white) and Black features of the Epson driver for Stylus Pro 7880 version 6.12 do not function in CS4 when running under Leopard. There is a file format incompatibility, and Epson USA said this week that this is not yet fixed by an upgrade. However, the Epson UK site offers a newer driver for the 7880, version 6.55, and I have heard that it does have a fix.
Has anyone downloaded it? Any problems, in view of the fact that Epson USA obviously does not recommend it?
