Folks,
Here are a couple B&W shots taken with Ilford 400 film. I quite like the tones here... I should try reproducing something similar with my digital images using LR's split-toning.

Deeyas, I've always liked what Ilford film does. HP4 was my favorite when I was shooting 35mm film. I used to buy it in hundred foot rolls and load my own cassettes.

I like the first shot. The graphics are good and the subject is interesting. I'm not so sold on the second one. It seems heavy on the left and the symmetry of the circular chair back is broken by the heavy lines behind it. Something similar in digital with split toning might be very interesting.
