Has anyone printed with this paper yet? If so, how are you liking the results compared to what you printed with before? Also, is this paper for matte or photo black?
Thanks for all replies.

Hi John-

In a word, it's great. It's a little warm, but less than say epson ultrasmooth, has great feel and look, is smooth but not plate smooth, prints colors beautifully. It's my favorite smooth matte paper (did I say it's a matte ink paper?) It's not as thick as William Turner or German Etching, so be careful with really big prints.

Yes, nice texture and the warmest of the high quality papers out there that work well with warm ink. However, I don't find it very sharp which is why I abandoned it for the Crane Portfolio Rag that is very sharp. Depends on what you want to use it for...

Its a great paper and the warmest I carry. Some artists I do the printing for will only use this paper. As far as the sharpness, I've printed some high frequency images on Bamboo using LR output sharpening and they have come out very crisp. I can't find anything to complain about as far as that goes.

I am printing my new portfolio on this paper, as it has a nice soft feel and look, like a rich platinum print.  It is not "snappy", but more rich feeling.

I'm another Bamboo user.  To me it's like a warm PhotoRag.  It's a little thinner (290 vice 308 gsm), but still firm.  I have found it to be as sharp as any other paper I've tried.  Check it out.  It's good stuff.
