so.... my scanner isn't in focus anymore I found out.  I compared scans against scans on another scanner. when I scan there isn't any "infocus" part of the negative. though through a loop they look great. the scanner is an epson v500. I wish I bought something a little better.

these were over in south west NH. the lady is my mom. the dog is my dog.

Rev, I hate to say it, but you were the start of all the previous bickering about what folks should and should not post here. Apparently that didn't sink in. I believe the end consensus was that snapshots (even if shot with your film MF camera) are not really appropriate to post here. I realize you are proud of your shots and your dog, but can you post only 1 or 2 shots that you REALLY love, not a whole slew of vacation photos?

Thanks,
-J

Here's something I shot while on a family vacation.  We spent the last 5 days in Northern Arizona and Monday visited Lower Antelope Canyon.  It's alot different than Upper Antelope but just as beautiful!  Also, attached are a couple of voodoo'd shots taken at the air museum in Valle, Arizona.  They're images of the interior of an old Lockheed Constellation.  It was at one time Douglas MacArthur's command center.  Jim

Likely Korea. Only a handful of Connies were built before WWII ended.

You're correct, the plane was MacArthur's command center during the Korean War.  The interior has been restored.  Jim

I had assumed so, but I wasn't aware that the first "Connie" came off the line in Jan 1943..I had always thought of it as a 1950's aircraft...but if anyone could have gotten "one of the few" it would have been MacArthur.

I agree, this work sucks. If this is your recent work. (Work not snap shots you need a new career.)

weird... no malace, I'm posting recent pictures that I took with my Medium Format camera like the title of this thread seems to call for.  Maybe the title of this thread is some sort of opposites day thing where "recent" and "works" mean the exact opposite. I didn't remember reading rules on this thread. Please link me to where it says no horrible pictures or whatever other rules I've broken.

Shame you can't,
But you can always hack into your own site and delete your pictures instead. ;-)

The point others are trying to make is that these aren't "works", but "snaps". You are having fun, great, but these photos are not about pushing yourself further in your photography, nor about making something really special. You are documenting your vacations and trips, which is fine, but this kinda stuff belongs on your website, not in a "recent works" thread, which is about pushing ourselves further and achieving more. I have pages and pages of such photos on my website, and that is fine, but I wouldn't post anything here, until I felt it was really something special, until I thought that I had achieved something better than my usual standard.

In the beginning, people were trying to be nice about it, and hint that this wasn't what the thread was for, but your barrage continues unabated, and now people are getting fed up and getting rude. I would suggest that you find another place that is more suited for posting such photos, perhaps a travel photography thread or something, and keep only your very best for here.

Aaron, maybe consider posting your photos here: http://www.flickr.com ?

There are lots of groups you may consider joining, and it you spend time commenting on others' photo's, you may receive positive feedback in return
