icc profiles for 3800
« on: April 27, 2008, 02:56:50 pm »

I just unpacked a epson 3800 printer which I purchased on ebay. I downloaded the latest print driver from epson. I am using MAC OS 10.5. I can't seem to find any icc profiles on the epson website. Can someone please enlighten me? Thank you, Mary Pat McNally

The profiles for Epson paper are included with the driver...other paper profiles are supplied by manufacturer or 3rd party.

If using Leopard on the mac, you're going to want to download and install the latest beta driver from Epson:  [a href=\"http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supAdvice.jsp?type=highlights&noteoid=101603]http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support...¬eoid=101603[/url]

That will install all the .icc profiles.  If you don't, you're going to have problems printing on Adobe Lightroom. It's the only driver compatible with Leopard, and add 16bit processing.
