Just a quick note to tell you guys (and all the Canadians here) what a lovely country you have!! We've been "in town" for a few days now and have spent most of it in the Banff/Jasper area just kicking back and doing some shooting. The scenery here is nothing short of breathtaking, but the real treasure is the Canadian people, they are without a doubt the friendliest, kindest and most polite people I've ever had the pleasure to meet. As I'm typing this I'm looking out (and up!!) at The Three Sisters peaks, WOW!!

Oh, I'm VERY jealous!!  That area is on my 'must do' list!  My parents stayed at Banff and couldn't say enough about it!  Just looking at the tourism sites makes me drool over the scenery!  And to think, some people waste time there GOLFING!  lol

Have fun and show us the pics ASAP!

I've been to the Banff-Jasper-Yoho-Kootenay area three times now. That is about my favorite area in the whole world. And yes, the Canadian people are wonderful. Do please show us some pix.

 It's a Q&D rendering so have mercy

Kevin,
I agree with you 100% about Canadians and Canada. My company has a very close business arrangement with a high tech company in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Mississauga is in the western part of the greater Toronto metroplex. For a few years I went there often. All but the admin staff are PhDs and maybe 1 out of 10 employees were born in Canada. All are first class human beings, decorous and civilized. They have a quiet personal manner that is far more respectful then the typical “in your face” arrogance of many U.S. citizens. A pleasure to do business with. View Michael’s most recent video offer “Camera To Print” and the difference is glairing.

Currently, Toronto is probably ‘the most’ international city in the world. Many many different cultures combine to make restaurant choice delightfully daunting. The problem with Toronto is traffic. Impossible.

I’ve been trying to get Michael to take his camera to New Brunswick and the maritimes. With the right eye, stunning!

Thats kinda uncalled for. While I have found Jeff a little direct in his forum replys. I thought the guys were having fun with each other in the video.

Did you not do exactly what you are describing Jeff of being.

I don't think he mentioned Jeff at all.

Let's see, there was only Michael and the glaring difference. Don't recall chris coming out from behind the camera.

Let's see - Mutt & Jeff, Abott & Costello, Jerry Lewis & Dean Martin. Are we watching the birth of a new comic team. In any case, their personalities complement each other and make learning a difficult subject enjoyable.

Here's another, this one is from Lake Morraine. Standard disclaimers apply

Guys, please  don't argue, I meant this thread to be a from the heart tribute to the beauty of Canada and the fine Canadian people I've met during this all too short visit.

Awsome picture man! just a comment though, I find the flair a little distracting so a quick clone would make this that much better!

Good stuff,

I agree---I also find their personalities complement each other  on these tutes and the fact that they sometimes have minor differences points out that in some cases, there isn't a 'right way'.

Thanks Mike, and you're absolutely right about the flare! I guess the thin air made me do it    As soon as the jet lag wears off I'll fix it
