For me, HP Pro Satin is the best on the Z3100.

HP Premium Instant-Dry Satin Photo Paper has worked well for me.  Its less expensive than the HP Pro Satin Photo Paper but with a similar gamut.  The HP Pro Satin though is gorgeous and a little thicker.

If you're not using HP papers, have you tried to increase the drying time on the glossy and satin papers you're using?  That might help with the wheel marks.  Its at least worth a try.

edit:  created a custom paper and profiled Epson Premium Semi-gloss last night and it looks very nice with GE on.

I use Epson Premium Luster 260, with gloss setting for profiling (Epson recommends this setup for the new 260gm paper) with GE on full I'm getting great prints.

Good results with both HP Photo Gloss and Ilford Gallerie Gloss.

The forum adresses a very important subject, for finding the paper that works best it is one of the major problems/glitches with the Z3100:

Having tried numerous types of glossy and satin papers, using the Gloss Enhancer
I get still the best results with  HP Professional Satin Photo Paper.

With some satin papers the gloss is really nice but then the dark reds are a problem or the gloss differential- or the wheelmarks- or all at once.

To find a glossy paper that shows no gloss differential is even more difficult; best results so far: HP High gloss contract proofing paper

for instance :
Ilford Gallery Smooth pearl paper: beautiful gloss- but weak dark reds and some gloss differential.

or Innova F type: wheel marks and pronounced gloss differential

maybe I am unlucky with my choices...?
