I'm in the market for a new laptop and am not sure if I need to faster graphics card. Mostly I'll be running LR, cs3, Leaf capture and C1. Is the processor and Graphics card worth paying the extra?[a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=121339\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a]
There aren't any graphics cards or graphics options for a MacBook Pro.Do you mean a Mac Pro?The applications you mention put little load on the graphics processor and a basic card does fine. If you want to run video games or run Aperture, an upgrade on the Mac Pro gives better performance.[a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=121348\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a]
What I meant was is the graphics card alone enough reason to spend the extra cash on a 2.4ghz 256Mb vram 15" macbook pro over a 2.2ghz 128Mb vram 15" macbook pro. Sure the extra .2ghz proc would be nice but my thinking is that if i spec out the ram in the 2.2 for around the same money and the 2.4 as stock I'll be better off. I do like to run a 21" eizo lcd when I can. Is aperture going to have a big hit on the graphics card, at the moment I dont run it but I'd like to future proof this thing alittle.[a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=121355\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a]
