US price can not be derived from EU price like that (if that was your goal). EU has a lot more taxes on cameras (and everything else) than the US does. But camera manufacturers sell cameras for wildly varying prices to compensate for or capitalize on that. For example, Canon 5D costs about $3000 (tax free) in the US, €2300 (tax-inclusive) in EU - this is very close to the exchange rate. On the other hand, 1DmII is $7000, but a crazy €6900. Converted from USD to EUR, that "should" be €5200. Go figure.
This is why I bought my 30D in the US, as even when imported and paying the taxes it's considerably cheaper than buying it in Europe. "Benefits" of living in socialist Europe.
So, making any assumptions on the USD price of the ZD based on the EUR price is largely a guess.
