According to one of the senior HP support people (been with HP Macintosh printer support for 12 years, in the Color Management group, etc.), they haven't even seen a beta yet and they've been told internally to look for it "in May".
FWIW, by all accounts it won't provide any net-new functionality. Rather, it replaces multiple (often confusing) print dialogs with one centralized one.
Apparently, it's "just" a PS extension and NOT a printer driver replacement (which is what would be needed to support direct, native 16bit).
It's disappointing because I was really hoping it would provide 16bit functionality (like Canon's plugin) for the Z3100 and save $1500+ on buying a RIP (that is, IF there is in fact tangible, "naked-eye" difference for "traditional" large landscapes with 16bit printing).
