You know this guy called will "Will" he's all over the place in this forum - Phase 60 *will* have the best files, H3D65 *will* be the most integrated camera in the world, Rollei *will* be the best, Aptus 90 *will* be the fastest .
Will seems to hang out with all of you a lot and helps you cheer up. I don't really like him, he never seems to get anything done today.
I also have this guy called "Lacks" who keeps dropping into my shoots to assist. He says things like "the M8 lacks a working IR filter" or "the 1DsII files lack depth" or I *lack* money to buy these new toys.
Lacks is really negative, but he's kind of in touch with reality in his strange way.
It's when the two are together that I really hate the sound of them.
Lacks and Will seem to fight a lot about equipment. It goes like this.
- Leica M8 lacks decent color.
- Leica will supply IR filters in a few months.
But I think it's more worrying when they agree about *me* . It goes like this
- You lack money to upgrade to the new Phase back.
- Clients will love your competitor's work if you don't have it.
Or
- You lack initiative, photographic ability and have no talent for self-promotion.
- You will be a failure.
