Coming from Northern California, Boca Raton is pretty bleak as far as landscapes go, but I thought I would ask, as someone might have some good ideas.

Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge is fairly close, near Delray Beach & Lake Worth. It includes a boardwalk into a cypress swamp, where you can take some nice classic Florida landscape images (think Clyde Butcher).
