Jpeg (non-destructive) color correction?
« on: September 12, 2006, 09:21:37 am »

looking for software which can do this in bulk, by the 1000's

I am having a look at color-science atm, which looks good and its fast, but just to cover my bases, is there anything else outthere, which can do color correction without destroying the jpeg file. we are in a sRGB printing enviroment.

thanks

I don't know about performance in the 1,000's - but wouldn't Lightroom be a possibility?  Certainly set up to do metadata edits and print - works for jpgs, not just RAW...

thanks guy,

so far, what looks the best atm is colour-science, I have made a few trials and it seems lightning fast. I know we are not talking art here, but fast and something that will work really well 90% of the time, in a Jpeg and sRGB enviroment, with 1000s of images, and it is scalable

but I am open to suggestions if someone knows of something else
