Jeff, that depends. On all of my architectural work, there is collaboration on what we will be photographing, but most of the time I shoot the image I wanted to shoot. I tend to get very excited about my images and the client kind of goes along with it.
Other times, I am handed a brief with everything already figured out.
Yes, Rob, this kind of planning is not for everyone. I did here because I had limited time, needed to move fast and efficient. Also, having it this well planned makes me more at ease. (Last night though, I was rushing due to time constraints. I had an hour less then what i thought.)
