After reading "The Optimum Digital Exposure" Essay proposed by Bob DiNatale, I was a slightly upset and decided to read it more accurately.
I was first shocked by the rabit and cat examples where almost everything is white. But after a moment, I found that these 2 examples show us low dynamic scenes, especially the cat example.
But I'm still skeptical for the use of the described method in the field.
Why, because of the jpg derived histograms and blinkies!
For me, we need raw RGB histograms to expose properly.
What do you think about the described method?
Have a Nice Day.
