New location for me.

Not sure this has nailed it but I think I will try it again in the future.

A nice one! The processing is spot on as well as the composition. I wouldn't change anything but I am sure that somebody will soon be along requesting a B&W version. ;)

I'm a big fan of B&W, but in this one the color really adds. Good catch, well-processed!

The only comment I'd make is that it's a bit closely cropped at the top for my taste. Otherwise, splendid.

That could do it. That's my favorite "anti-cropping" tool.

I'm sorry to say there is no more sky to offer you, I only had a couple of minutes to get the shot. The tides are deadly here, it's where the River Lune enters Morecambe Bay and in the course of this two minute exposure the water rose 6 inches up my boots.

Ten years ago 21 Cockle pickers were drowned in this bay because they were caught by this tide so I wasn't in going to hang around for alternative compositions I'm afraid.

Personally, the close crop doesn't worry me too much, there wasn't much happening in the sky anyway, but I may have a mess around to see what I can do and have a look at it.

Yes, I like everything about it, but it would be interesting to see a B&W rendition!

I haven't done one yet. I will post one up here if I do.

The colours are so subtle that it may work well but the top quarter will need careful handling I think.
