Ranting & Dancing
« on: July 02, 2014, 05:39:35 am »

The guy on the left was ranting about Alex Salmond - Scotland's first Minister in a devolved government - being a not fit leader of Scotland and a liar. He reckoned that Jesus Christ was the true leader. And he thought I was taking movies and he told me to post one on You Tube. He was also well dressed and articulate.

In the context, the guy on the right looks as if he's hurrying off to the "Repentance Office."
Nice.

Does he mean King Jesus is returning to bring all that trouble with him? Safer for Scotland to stay in the UK then. The devil you know....!
Another fine shot

The reference to Jesus as "king" just reinforces my theory of Europeans' genetic serfdom to their royalties  :P

P.S. I suppose it is not by pure chance that the Bank of Scotland is in the picture, both literally and figuratively, when it comes to sin.

Christian myth has their saviour referred to as 'king' on numerous occasions, and as it was an import from the Levant, I fail to see it pointing to a European genetic serfdom.  :P

As for the photo itself - great stuff. Returning to the railway station to come home, takes me through Cardiff city centre, which is often populated by supernaturalists of many stripes, selling their particular brands of snake oil. They attract as much positive attention as this photo's purveyor of doom appears to be getting.

That is where it came to Europe from, the concept of divine rights of kings.

From your source -- The theory of divine right was abandoned in England during the Glorious Revolution of 1688–89.

(It's the invasion we don't talk about in England, we prefer to think of the Norman invasion as the last successful invasion.)
