7900 cleaning error - what to do?
« on: March 27, 2014, 06:41:35 pm »

I have run the normal cleaning on my 7900 twice, and both times I got a "cleaning error" message. The manual is silent on this message, what it means and what to do next. I'd appreciate any advice.

do a nozzle check to see what channel (s) are still "clogged".
then run a normal pair clean on the pair and do another nozzle check.

I have had a nightmare recently with the same problem.

Start the printer up in service mode, holding down ok down and right buttons.

You will find additional stronger cleans in that I started with service clean 1, ran a nozzle check was the same so I went to number 2 and it cleared.

Good luck
