You got me wonderin'.... stairs, indoors or out, but if not, then a reflection of same on some chrome? All this stuff excites me no end: a real mental exercise in place of the obvious confrontation with the established norms. And thinking of them, perhaps that's why landscape assumes a greater beauty when it's done in black and white and removed from the way it usually looks; fake colours just look what they are. But either way, I think they must remain small images. For me, an enormous photograph on a domestic wall is a breach of sensitivity - but a nod to the consumer within us. Enormous photographs on office walls (or in galleries, of course) ring more true, but still, I think, require a sense of proportion to work.
