reminds me of an insect in the tropics, a fly i think, that has a head on a long stalk plus with two eye stalks to side.

Thank you Eric and Degrub. Eric, this is same area and mall that I got my creations image of 'lift off' from. It is particularly amenable to bw conversions. I have whole series from this location and I may post them some time. I think it really works because the colours and shapes are so simple elegant and bold, especially against a blue sky.
