Neat!

You could start a new photo mag called "ShutterWork" maybe.

As to the image, let's just say I'm playing with the electronic rolling shutter of the camera.

Jim
My but your answer is just as intriguing as your image. I will read your review. Thanks for sharing.

Clouds and their shapes were so wonderful that morning I could have watched them all morning with a nice cup of coffee, or two. But I was leading group so had to move on. Sigh.

It is still pretty nice. It does look a little over-sharpened on my monitor.

It's lovely.
I can see the balance problem, but you don't want to crop out the nice stuff on the left edge, either.

The phantom cat observed my camera technique. I spotted him and thought he was an apt subject for experimentation on a nice clean green background of grass. I wrongly posted first time on "without prejudice" thread.

Great capture almost tells an entire story

You: Okay, group, listen up. In order to continue we first need to get those creative juices flowing. Everybody grab their mobile phone cam and try to depict some out-of-the-box imaging. Go outside for the next hour and ...

An hour should fit 2 cups of coffee just fine, no?

Cool stuff.

The interesting part here is especially that nature has a way of making chaos peaceful, while human-induced chaos usually is very disturbing.

I hate to admit it, but that experimentation seemed to have worked quite well. Just three colors make a great impression of a cat. "Impression" being the operative word, of course.

Well thanks for all the feedback. Sometimes you just have to try things.

Here is the tower of power, which is a title as silly sounding as it looks in print.

Have to say Eric, they don't look good small, but once enlarged they come to life. I particularly like the branches in the undulating water. It has a 3-D quality to it.

Finally got opportunity to get out and photograph before all the new colours and blossoms of spring disappear. Here is one taken with Eric in mind. He said I should try for a 1000, multi-exposure image, so I did. No, not really. This is a about 26 exposures - camera exif doesn't say- with a little contrast adjustment as the multi-exposure tends to flatten out light. Looks somewhat like a painting.

Been looking at JMR pictures too often, so obviously this happens: 30 exposures of a Dandelion.

I uploaded a large file, because you have to see the actual pixels to believe it...

Yes, the branches-image is brilliantly beautiful. Very Zen.

Very nice. Did you use a tripod? I assume you are using a Pentax?

No, a little Sony WX350. handheld, deliberately moving. Then stacking the images in post.
