Canon 5D with MaxMax Infrared Conversion
« on: March 19, 2014, 12:53:32 am »

I have  Canon 5D body in good condition with body cap and battery/charger. This camera has been converted by MaxMax to have expanded infrared capabilities.
The conversion was somewhat different than the standard IR only conversion; in this case the conversion retains the visible spectrum, but adds the IR spectrum as well.
This is known as the Visible+IR conversion in the MaxMax terminology, and extends the IR sensitivity out to about 1200 nm on the IR spectrum.

Why, you may ask, have both visible and IR? This allows you to use an IR filter for pure IR images, or to use an opposite infrared blocking filter to have visible light only photographs.
You simply have to experiment with different filters to see what you can achieve.
If you use no filter, then you get the entire spectrum, which can be a softer image for another type of artistic endeavor.

In any event, I am offering this camera at a great price of only $559.00.
A great deal considering the conversion alone is approximately $450.00.
Also, I have the manual, eye cup, and screen protector.

Include 15.00 S&H in the conus.

Thanks for looking!
