Michael, sounds like you had a great time in Paris.  Welcome back home.  Any thoughts on how the EM-1 compares to the EM-5, specifically ergonomics and how you'd assess whether it was "worth" the upgrade?

That's a call that one will need to make based on personal needs.

The E-M1 is definitely a better camera in every respect, but I hesitate to make recommendations on how other people spend their money.

Re the charger cord problem: if you have a MacBook,  the power cord has a  white box and attached to it is  a little universal plug that fits on the Oly charger, eliminating the long cord! works great.

I don't normally hawk gadgets, but if you don't have one of these already, get one.

Pearstone Compact Charger for BLM-1 Battery

Why is this so great, you ask?

1) AC plug is attached and swivels-in to hide
2) Includes 12-V car power port adapter (input)
3) Includes USB charging port (output)
4) and the coup de grace, is that you can get interchangeable plates for almost any DSLR battery

Mine lives in my car or my travel bag and is used more frequently than the original one from the manufacturer.
