Any experience with InkOwl?
« on: March 27, 2014, 01:26:24 pm »

When doing a search for non-oem ink solutions I came across this. They claim their Canon replacement ink carts are filled with ink that is made in the USA and that there is no need for line purging, etc when switching from Oem to their ink.

http://www.inkowl.com/?p=product&product=6808

From a Canadian price point, with exchange, a full set (12 cartridges-700ml) from inkowl (not factoring in tax) represents a saving of nearly $3200....(factoring in tax the savings increase to nearly $3600)

Obviously massive saving....just wondering if anyone has experience with their products OR if there are other recommendations for non oem canon inks?

I'm usually a faithful OEM ink user, but am tempted to see if there is a reasonable and effective way to incorporate non-oem inks into my workflow....maybe even just for the most used colours (ie. photo grey, black, etc)......not sure if running oem and non oem at the sametime is a good idea or not.....so input is welcomed!
