Haswell/Intel built in Graphics Chip - can it profile ok?
« on: August 27, 2013, 04:10:08 pm »

I see the newest Intel Haswell processors/ motherboards have built in graphic chips, that are certainly powerful enough to run big monitors, I am told they can even run 4k monitors no problem.  But... do they work with profiling software (NEC Spectraview, most commonly) ok? and does anyone know if they are capable of running a 10bit pipeline, like the better AMD cards?

I use Ivy-Bridge with its iGPU (HD4000), no problems with Nec SpectraView2 or a monitor that can only be profiled over the GPU.
I use SP2 with an i1DisplayPro puck for my NEC PA271 and i1Profiler for my other computer/monitors or beamer.
Would expect the Haswell to have the same behaviour.
