That's an interesting question.

I usually leave my light balance set on daylight so I presume the blue must be there.

As I understand it the cones on our retinas don't really work well in the dark, leaving us largely dependent on our rods which are sensitive to luminance rather than chroma.

Is it possible that we don't see the colour because our night vision is so monochromatic?
