This was the final version 35mm 645 lens offered by Pentax and it is among the finest full frame medium format super wides ever made. It is a rare lens on the secondhand market. The 35mm FA is autofocus or manual. It is much sharper and with less light fall off than the original Pentax SMC P-A 645 35mm f/3.5 MF which it replaced. It outperforms the Hasselblad 40mm IF FLE and the Mamiya 645 AF 35mm f3.5 in resolution and distortion tests.
The lens is in A+ condition with an intact hood and original lens case. It also has a B&W UV 82mm slim filter. I have mostly used it with an adapter as a manual T/S lens on 35mm, but I have also tried it out on the new 645D and the AF functions perfectly.
