Board for Use with Epson 4900?

I think you would need to be more specific: cotton/alpha cellulose, RC photo/fine art, and what particular weight/thickness range?

I am looking for something that I can print and sell so (and excuse my example!) something like a board faced up with Epson Premium Photo paper 250gm2? I want to avoid the expense of paper/backing board/photo mount combination

A few years back, Ilford had a product, Galerie Smooth Pearl Pre-Mounted Boards, but I believe it has been discontinued. Everywhere I have searched seems to confirm that and when it is listed on a supplier's site it is indicated as "back  ordered." Though it had optical whiteners and paper was RC type, it was great for posters. It worked very well in my large format Epsons and came in sizes from 8 x 10 through 20 x 24.

The only other product that I believe is still available is Epson's Enhanced Matte Poster Board which comes in 24 x 30 and 30 x 40 sizes. I still have four or five boxes on hand, though I don't really print matte finish much lately.

If you or anyone else discovers another product, I too, will be most interested as it can be quite convenient for some projects.

Apart from the Ilford Shooth Pearl board and the Epson Poster board already mentioned, the only other thing I can think of is Fujifilm Semi Gloss RC board. It is 540 g/m² and 1.2 mm and expensive, as in about $3-4 a sheet for 11 x 14 inches; and think it only comes in a few sizes.

I've ordered some Fujifilm Photo Pearl 1.3mm board and will give it a go and report back. Its available in (just under) A2 size and in Matt, Pearl and Glossy finishes. It sounds like it could be just what I was looking for......

I did a search for that product and only found listings for it in the UK and all of the stores there listed it as back ordered or out of stock. It sounds much like the Ilford product from a few years ago?

Well, the Fuji Pearl Board arrived today and I have printed out a couple of things and I'm pleased with the results. The paper finish itself doesn't have a "relief" or texture so it can appear quite flat in out of focus backgrounds and I think I'll give the glossy version a go next time when i have used these boards.

The Fuji icc profile seems to work well and there's not a lot to do to soft proof (very slight loss of saturation and I bumped up the white and black points), They will also take a ton of sharpening. Looks very promising!
