Good stuff Krug and congrats on returning to the fold. Did you pick up an original MM or a new MM?

Keep the images coming. We need some other contributions in this thread.

I think the work looks good. I like the self portrait. I would go a bit darker and maybe pop a little contrast into most of the landscapes but thats me.

Good job and again keep'm come'n.....

Thanks Allen - feels good to be back - much as I was tempted by the opportunities of the 246 to use some of my old non-rf glass I do feel that there is something particular about the original MM  ... and the extra complexity of a camera with video that I will never use did not appeal.

Don't disagree about the contrast on these images but these were literally the first shots form the camera and I deliberately went for the max. detail look to check that my 78 year old eyes could still focus accurately with a rf. - I think they will do for a while yet.

I hope to post more from time to time and I am always keen to get comment and critique - positive or negative - on anything I post ... I firmly believe that we are likely to learn more from seeing through the eyes of others than just through our own.

I agree with you and all points. I have no desire to upgrade because the original is just such a solid performer. Now if Leica were to make a Mono M-D I might seriously have to think about it.

Forgot to mention earlier that this pic reminded me to get myself a new straw hat for an upcoming holiday. Thanks!  :D

Good luck on the hat Dave. Anyone interested in seeing some of my color work Steve Huff posted some here.

I second Dave's comments. The clarity and density of your your bw white images has look unlike mots I have seen on this or other sites. The tones looks deep but natural with excellent gradation. doesn't look PP at all. Excellent work.

Sump'm a little different for me. I got a 65mm 3.5 Elmar (Canada)and bellows and focus chimney for a good friend. It was his fathers. It works GREAT.

Playing around with it and my MM.

The single flower with the tangle behind it is beautiful. Such tones and excellent composition.
