Does anyone have the dimensions of the Arca-Swiss Rm3di for the base unit excluding the viewfinder/lens/back.

Thanks in advance

Not sure how the measurements have been taken but this might help you:

Hi Alun,

Rm3di dimensions are:
Camera height from the foot to top of the viewfinder mount - 8 3/8"
Camera width, including knobs - 7 3/4"
Camera depth, including knobs - 2"

If you are nearby - I'll be demonstrating the Arca-Swiss Rm3di, D4 and C-1 Cube tripod heads next week at the Digital Transitions Open House event in Dallas, Houston and Denver. Details of the event are here: http://bit.ly/ISzqj6

Also, an Rm3di introduction video available to watch here:

Hope that helps,

Rod

Rod and Lance,

I'm based in the UK unfortunately but thank you so much for the information Rod. I have just ordered an Rm3di with Leaf Aptus II 7 and the Schnieder 35mm Digitar and the reason for the question was to see if the Rm3di would fit in my F-Stop ICU that I have - it will! I have seen your excellent videos several times already Rod and it was instrumental in making my decision over an Alpa as information on the Arca-Swiss products is hard to come by in the UK or on the 'net as you'll know.

On a separate note, do either of you have a recommendation for a loupe (magnification?) to use with this setup?

Many thanks again
