I have three major gripes abut the camera after using now for 2-3 months
1- The god damn video button--there have been solutions found on the
internet.
2- The lack of a useful HDR exposure range--I have come to find this very
irritating and limiting with my style of shooting--so irritating that I
have considered abandoning the camera
3-Both of the above can be fixed with a firmware update--the rumors have
persisted for ages about its coming but None are in sight..Considering all
that has been written about these, SONY has been silent.
There are rumors of a new "NEX 9" comming this summer--Will Sony give us a firmware update for the NEX 7 or make us buy a whole new camera to get what I need--If they do so, I will dump them in a flash.
If the camera cannot do what I need it to do and the easy fix is not
forthcomming, I may go back to my Canon
Let's see what Canon has to offer with their upcomming mirrorless camera
later this month.
