MFDB tethered with new Macbook Pro Retina
« on: June 22, 2012, 09:16:10 am »

I'm planning to buy a new Macbook Pro (retina), as I understand you can tether a digital back on a new Macbook Pro with a thunderbolt-to-firewire adapter. Did anyone already test any adapters, does this solution work / is it stable? Are there any adapters someone could recommend?
Thanks.

the cable isn't out yet ( the one apple presented 2 days ago)
the ethernet cable is out..

I tested the Sonnet solution ( much more expensive) , that's fine...
( the sonnet solution can also serve as a kick ass card reader :p )
Only it's clumsy and expensive..
