Timezone adjust- is half hour changes possible?
« on: December 30, 2011, 03:10:50 pm »

The timezone adjust for capture time changes only allows whole integers, from -24 to +24.

This creates a problem when you need to adjust the capture time for a timezone that is n plus a half hours - e.g. India Standard Time is GMT+5:30 (or +5.5 hours)

Is there another way to fix this?

Don't use the 'shift by set number of hours' use the first option, 'adjust to a specified date and time'.

That does not work when you want to change all of the photos you took whilst subject to such a shift and where the number of photos is over 1000.

Yeah, it does.

You select all the images you want to shift.  In Library, go to edit capture time.  Using the first option, shift the time you see by what you need to.  It's only displaying the ACTIVE image time you have selected, it will shift everything selected by whatever amount you put in.

For example if you select two images, one from 12:00 and one from 3:40, and you change it to 12:10 the other will be shifted to 3:50.

Indeed, that does work. Thank you.
