I am already a fan of your work but this image stands out above all others I have seen from you lately - it literally took my breath away, you have truly made an incredible photograph!

Am pleased to report that I received notification today that this photograph took out a Bronze award for excellence in the Open landscape category in the International Aperture Awards.

It's easy to see why you got all the comments and kudos!
It looks like a longer exposure, with the sharp foreground and what looks like a bit of water moving in and out. Creates terrific contrast of textures.
I was wondering if you'd tried a selective adjustment on the 'berg, and adding a little more contrast for a bit more dimensionality?

I found out a day ago that I just won a Gold award for this print at APPA's - some details about it on my
Blog
. I am personally pretty thrilled as APPAS are judged by the print - not a digital submission. And that makes this kind of award pretty special for me since so many competitions these days are digital submission.
