Is there a way to toggle between two adjustment layers with one key/click? I'm comparing the results of three different skin softening techniques in
Kelby's latest book on portrait retouching, and have all three as smart object adjustment layers on top of the background, unretouched image.
The easiest way I've found is to leave just one adjustment layer on to see the effect of the first method, then to turn it off, and to turn the next one on. It works, but PS shows the background layer in-between no matter how fast I click, and I have to take my eyes off the image to flick the little eye-icons in the layer palette anyway. Not optimal. I could duplicate the document and set different layers visible in each one, but that's tedious when I have several smart objects in multiple documents to tweak to perfection and compare them, and getting them in perfect register is an exercise in frustration.
