Sigma's new Faveon sensor....?

What do you think about Sigma's new Foveon sensor....?

Is there any direct comparison of sample images taken by a foveon AND CMOS sensors?

I have not done a recent search for comparison, I'm hoping some one has. Sometimes I wish Canon, Nikon or Phase one, just some one big had bought the IPR (international patent right) for the foveon sensor. I don't feel like Sigma has done anything with it people can use... 10.000$ for a 35mm body with APS-C sized sensor in it? I would never buy it.
