Strange issue with Color Munki-any ideas?
« on: March 17, 2011, 09:50:31 am »

I noticed that when printing to Hahnemuhle Photo rag 308 with a profile made by the munki that if the custom paper size is not exactly matching the image size (when printing to a roll) that I get a light blue shape in the overlap. For instance if we print a 6x6" image and the custom paper size of 6x7" we get a 1/2" stripe of very light blue (instead of white) on the top and bottom of the image (the area represented by the paper size, but not by the picture).   ???Have you ever experienced this?

Build V2, not V4 profiles. That blue you see is a sum dot. Its a bug in how they build V4 profiles.

This has been driving me crazy! I have been dealing with the same problem and I would never have connected with the colormunki! Thanks for the pointer!
