LR3, Export Module, Color Space "Grey 1.8"

Hello,

if I export my Images I can't selec a black and white color space. Usually I use grey with gamma 1.8. What can I do?

Well, a more usual PS grayscale export is gray gamma 2.2. However, you can't export from Lightroom as anything else but RGB, even if you are working in B/W. I have moaned about this for ages, but no-one at Adobe seems to like me (other than Eric, who is a good guy  ). So I have to make a trip to PS to convert the image to grayscale and re-save my TIFFs.

I don't have ACR or CS5, just PS Elements, so I can't test that out.

Well, if you can do it from ACR, there really is no excuse for Adobe not to include that option in Lightroom as well. I can't think why they have left it out of the LR export options.

CMYK output is probably requested more often, but ease requirement is usually for some "downstream" processing. As greyscale is in ACR though, it is a little surprising it didn't make the cut.
