I know street is mostly B&W, but I like this one better in colour:

I'm sorry if I upset some people with the colour shot  ;)

So here's another B&W

Never travel without a broom:

Why have one broom when you can have several…

Nice one Tom, looks like an older film shot, correct?

Time to bring back some colour (Hope I don't close it down again  :-\)

One sided passion, or when to keep your hands in your pockets   :D :

And to think I'd imagined the point of interest was the knock-knees in the background!

;-)

P.S.  Nice calves and heels, though, on the crisp one...

So here's another B&W

Good shooting, Pieter -- on both of them.

Thanks Russ. A couple of weeks ago I went with a few like-minded togs to Madrid and had a blast.

Here's another one I like, witnessing a self portrait in the making on the Puerta de Sol.

I was in Nicaragua two weeks ago auditing some in-home filters we installed for the out of the way villages as part of our company's sustainability efforts.  In one community the children congregated around us.  When we were finished I pulled out the "blow bubbles" soap.  The kids had a blast.

Pictures like this always prompt me to ask: "Why do we ever have to grow-up?"

I try to retain my innocence and sense of wonder but sometimes the pressures of modern life make it hard to comply.

Well, somebody's got to milk the cows and slop the hogs. Oops, sorry, I didn't mean to get political.

Yesterday I got a chance to wander around Ybor city in Tampa for a while. I shot the equivalent of a couple rolls of film, then dumped the majority of them and kept a few. Here are four survivors. I posted them on Street & PJ, but since we're talking street in this thread I thought that since they're already ready to go it might be worthwhile to post them here too.

Great assortment, Russ.

IMHo, "street photography" is all about interactions, expressions, body language, and unexpected juxtapositions. These all have something to linger over.

The police officers were acting like Christmas had come early. They were opening up and checking everything that they could.

I guess they were called by the owner of that truck who had reported that his shock absorbers had been stolen. Australia seem truly like a strange place....  ;D

I think it's an infection from across the Pacific: street sleds (aka sledge). How very odd.
