Need advice on moving a lens from one shutter to another.
« on: January 27, 2011, 04:56:16 pm »

I am not a professional and wonder if I can remove the lens from a Sinar Cmv shutter or sinar db and put it streight into a Rollei-electric shutter?

Will this lens then need some adjustments after it's been moved? Or is it possible at all?

Yes it is possible, contact your local Rodenstock distributor they would normally offer this kind of service

You can do it yourself of course but ve careful not to damage the shutter and take your tome to adjust the two elements

Hi, Henrik

Off topic:
It was you who won the ebay auction for that X-act kit last night? There were 3 lenses with Rollei shutters...
Just curious ;)

You can do it yourself but don`t do it. If the lenses are not exactly in their position they will loose all their quality....

 :D :D :D

Yes, my last bid at 1,6k. I stopped, presuming that the lead bidder is somewhat prepared to go at least to 3000, because the kit is a lot more valuable.
I needed/wanted just the 80/4 and the shutters, I'm happy with my current Sinar gear, anyway.
If I would've won I'd have to get rid of more than half of the kit.

Congratulations!

Ok. I am unsure about the lenses. It is digitar-lenses but I am not sure if they are apo-digitars..
I am also unsure about who can put my other lenses in a new rollei-shutter here in Norway?
