the 679 system was entirely designed around tilt and swing movements

the first version M679 : tilt and swing only
then Linhof added rear shift on the M679cc
and finally added a front shift on the M679cs

so if you want front and rear shift there is the M679cs but those movements are not so well suited for the M679 who is better suited for tilt and swing movements, depends what are your needs...

I used to use the Lihof 679cc and was always impressed with the logical ease of use and the sturdy way it is built. To me, it is the only rock solid and 39+ megapixelback worthy TC on the market. However i have put mine up for sale as i switched to the Hartbleicam HB1. So if interested, i have a great 679cc complete set for Hasselblad-V and it is almost for free ;-))

Hi Peter, I noticed you had a 679 for sale in another post. Can you send me details to me at mudgey@Mac.com please?
