I've been using Epson printers for many years and had my settings all dialed in to get nice color in my prints. The other day I had an Epson 2880 show up and figured I'd plug it in using the same methods. As I'm sure you all know, this was not the walk in the park I was expecting.
I'm using Mac OS 10.6.5 and have seen all the forum postings and Mac Performance guide articles. I'm completely baffled as to how to turn off the color management letting Photoshop (CS5) manage the color. (I'm not even sure if that's the magic bullet for nice prints anymore) There doesn't seem to be anything more current than January 2010 on these issues and I'm wondering if anyone has a successful setup running this printer, CS5 and OS combo? I'm about ready to just send it all back.
