Sawtooth Range, Idaho, USA

This summer I have made a project for myself to begin building a set of images of the Sawtooth Range, a lesser known part of the Rockies, in Idaho.  I would like to invite critique and comment. I am posting images to the site frequently, so please check back, and if you have critique on specific images, please refer to images by file name, rather than the numerical sequence.

How do you capture them - camera/processing?

These were mostly shot with a Mamiya 645afd3, Phase One P30 back, Mamiya 35 f3.5 MF lens, and GND filters. I'm using LR3 for import, conversion, and post. B/W is done using either Nik Silver EFx Pro or LR.

Thank you all for your comments, but please, don't hold your punches - I really am looking for critique.  I welcome a bit of analysis, images favored/less favored, comments on the rendering of the images, etc. At times you can feel that a series is becoming repetitive, and I would like to make sure that I am not working myself into a rut, doing the same things over and over. I hope to get back and continue adding to this portfolio, so please, give me your comments to help me "keep fresh"

Very nice pictures. I know what you mean by being stuck in a rut.

I recently viewed some videos on The Mindful Eye http://www.tmelive.com/ (free to register) and I thought they were helpful. When looking at your images I though that some of Craig's concepts would apply and give you a more dynamic look. Particularly the Foundations Concepts video and any others dealing with composition. Check them out, it may spark you.
