'Evening everybody
A couple of minor headaches 48 hours into upgrading:
1) I may be blind but nowhere could I find the answer to the simple Q how to you transfer your preferences (name plate workspace, etc.) for LR2 to LR3. It's not that long a process to reproduce everything but I am just curious: Adobe Help is mute on this and a trawl through the Adobe user forums is equally fruitless...
2) For some odd reason the upgrade path for my catalog described in the LuLa tutorial did't work for me. As a result I have used the standard upgrade path which seems to have worked well. Only 'problem': none of the previews on the old photos have been rebuilt. Can one force such a rebuild? How?
3) Much to my surprise (dismay?) 100% previews in LR2 look much sharper/less noisy than in LR3 (!) Is this because LR3 is using 'old' previews? Obviously sharpening and noise correction are much better in LR3 so this problem can be manually adjusted, but I don't fancy doing this to all my photos. Any thoughts?
